Yesterday we saw how Shobhaa De trolled the policeman over his weight and how she got a befitting reply from Mumbai police.
Often, we have seen this socialite taking a dig at other biggies, only to be trolled in return. This time she shouldn’t have messed up with a police official; Shobhaa insulted a plus size inspector by tweeting his photo and writing “Heavy police bandobast in Mumbai today”! In case you haven’t seen, here’s her tweet

Mumbai Police gave a befitting reply by saying…
We love puns too Ms De but this one is totally imisplaced. Uniform/official not ours. We expect better from responsible citizens like you. https://t.co/OcKOoHO5bX

After all this the inspector Daultram Jogawat, the one who became a target of Shobhaa’s troll, hit back at her. In reality, he is overweight not due to eating but due to an illness.
He says
“It (his weight) is due to my illness that I am so fat, and not due to overeating. I had gall bladder operation in 1993 and I developed insulin imbalance which resulted in my obesity.”
This was not it, Jogawat mocked Shobhaa De by saying “If madam wants, she can pay for my treatment. Who doesn’t want to be thin?”
Supporting Daulatram, even SP of Neemuch, Manoj Singh stated,
“Though Jogawat is obese, he is dedicated towards his duty and his investigations have often won praise from the court. He also performed creditably during the rigorous Simhasta in Ujjain for a month.”
After being mocked by Mumbai Police and Inspector Daulatram Jogawat, Shobhaa De had no option but to apologize; check out her tweet…
Mumbai/Maharashtra Police, pranaam. No offence intended. M.P. police, consult a dietician,if it's an asli ,undoctored image doing the rounds

It is really sad that Shobhaa De insulted someone who is suffering from such an illness; she should have thought twice before speaking such words.
