How the ‘0’ rupee concept came in?
This concept of ‘0’ rupee note was invented by a US based physics professor, Satindar Mohan Bhagat. He was quite frustrated by these demands of government officials. He thought of taking some action against this in a humorous way. A non-profit organization by the name 5th pillar helped Bhagat in his concept.

However, he smiled and allowed him to go. This builds confidence in people to refuse if anyone asks for bribery.

The note looks similar to that of a 50 rupee note and the main objective is eradicating corruption. Few officials tried objecting and resisting it. At the back of the note, there are details of the authorities, who can be contacted in case of such incidences. As of now, around 3 million notes have been distributed and 5th Pillar hopes that soon the country would be free against corruption.
