Bollywood films and controversies have always gone hand in hand but no film ever attracted troubles for itself like the upcoming film Padmavati.
Normally films come in trouble before or after the release but Padmavati has faced troubles since its making only. Starting from Karni Sena vandalising the sets and slapping Sanjay Leela Bhansali to protests at several places in India, the problems have seen a huge rise in the momentum.
Recently we all saw how Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Deepika Padukone were threatened against the release of film. At first, Karni Sena threatened to chop off Deepika’s nose.Then protestors in UP announced a bounty of Rs 50 lakhs on the heads of both SLB and Deepika. Someone from Meerut folowed and announced a prize of 5 crores for the person who will behead SLB and Deepika. The events went totally crazy when Haryana’s BJP chief media coordinator crossed everyone and announced a 10 crores bounty on the heads of the director and actress.
But this is not the end of the things.
Akhil Bhartiya Kshatriya Mahasabha (ABKM) youth wing leader Bhuvneshwar Singh has gone a step ahead now. He wants someone to burn Deepika alive and has announce a prize money of Rs 1 crore for that. He said-
“Deepika should know how it feels like to be burnt alive. The actress will never know the sacrifice of the queen. Any person burning her alive will be given Rs 1 crore. We demand that office- bearers of the organisation be shown the movie before it is released.”
Meanwhile, Padmavati has been postponed and it will not release on 1st Dec as expected earlier.
