10 Bollywood Actors Who Didn’t Gain The Respect They Deserve!

Bollywood is followed by billions of people across the globe. It is one of the biggest film industry in the world and it has given name and fame to many stars. There are many great actors in the B-Town, but it can be clearly seen that the industry is not doing justice with many of the acting talents. There are many actors in the Bollywood who are very underrated. The reason of this might be the popularity of commercial movies over the acting skills. Whatever be the reason, it is a great injustice with truly deserving talents.

Let’s have a look at the list of highly underrated Bollywood actors.

1. Jaaved jaffery

Jaaved Jaffery is one the best comedy actors Bollywood has ever produced. Though his talent was not fully utilized, He made his debut in Subhash Ghai’s movie “Meri Jung” where he played the role of Amrish Puri’s son Vicky Thakraal. He has done great comedy in Dhamaal. He was also a great break dancer. Jaaved also co-hosted one of the first and biggest dance shows “Boogie-Woogie”.

2. Ashutosh Rana

He was one of the most fearful villains of 90’s, he stunned everybody with his acting skills and powerful tone of dialogue delivery. From playing a villain in Dushman and Sangharsh to the policeman and playing Alia Bhatt’s father in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya, he surprised everybody with his versatile acting skills.

3. Riteish Deshmukh

His father Vilas Rao Deshmukh was the chief minister of Maharashtra, But he chose a totally different field and started as a B-grade movie actor. He continued to act in the B-grade movies and film makers caught his amazing comedy timing skills and he got a chance in Bollywood. From many comedy films to the role of a psycho in Ek-villain,he proved himself many times but film makers couldn’t fully utilized his talent.

4. Shreyas Talpade

Shreyas Talpade had created a sensation by his tremendous acting skills in his debut movie “Iqbal”. He then acted with Srk in “Om Shanti Om”. After that, he missed some great chances by refusing good scripts and by doing wrong movies. He was last seen in “Great Grand Masti”.

5. Chandrachur Singh

He made his debut in late 90’s by doing Kya Kehna, Josh and Daag. He was a decent talent with charming attitude. He acted in many patriotic movies in early 2000’s. He was soon disappeared from the Bollywood industry and nobody knows what he’s up to now.

6. Manoj Bajpai

Nobody can deny the fact that he is one the finest actors Bollywood has ever produced. He has two national awards for the movies Satya and Pinjar. His acting skills in Gangs of wasseypur took him to another level and his acting skills were fully showcased on the international level. Despite his great acting he is a highly underrated actor and only doing side roles in the industry.

7. Sharman Joshi

He is an extremely underrated actor of the B-town. He deserves much more than he got from the industry. He has got the looks, acting, expressions and amazing comedy timing. He has shown the world his acting skills in a blockbuster movie 3-Idiots where he played the role of Amir’s friend Raju. He has also done great comic roles in movies like Golmaal, Style and Dhol.

8. Akshay Khanna

He is the son of a great actor Vinod Khanna. Akshay Khanna impressed everybody with his great work in films like Dil Chahta Hai, Humraaz, LOC Kargil, Taal and Border. He has got amazing acting skills and stunned everybody with his expressions and dialogue delivery. He won the Best Debut Filmfare Award when he arrived in the film industry. He is surely an extremely underrated actor.

9. Jimmy Shergill

He is one of the few actors in the Bollywood industry who always gets great appreciation from the critics. He made his debut in Maachis and his acting was immensely applauded and appreciated. He did movies like A Wednesday, Special 26, Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster and Yahaan. In the industry that gives more credit to the commercial movies, this great actor was not given the value he deserves.

10. R Madhavan

R Madhavan is one of the most versatile actors the industry has ever produced. He is the superstar in the movies of south, but his work was got given the respect it deserves. Be it Tanu Weds Manu, 13B or Rang De Basanti, This actor has shown his versatility in every movie. He worked really hard for his latest movie Saala Khadoos, but it didn’t worked well. He is surely an extremely underrated actor.
