Ponnam Pandey is surely not a new name for anyone who reads news. This 24 year old model turned actress hails from Delhi and one of the stars who got fame through controversy. She has starred in handful of Telugu and Bollywood movies but unfortunately were not able to do well on the big screen. 2. She was approached for reality show “Bigg Boss” for season 7 but after just starring in one film. She declined the offer since the channel offer of Rs 2-2.5 crore was not good enough for her. It is believed that she asked Rs 3 crore for the season but channel was not willing to offer her that amount.
3. For her debut film “Nasha”, Poonam decided to promote her film in a different and unique way. She started a contest where anyone who who tweets the most romantic Valentine’s Day message for her will get a hot bikini worn by Poonam in the film Nasha as prize!
4. She realeased a video on her Youtube channel titled ‘Bathroom Secrets’. The video was too provocative for the Indian audiences and was later blocked by Youtube.
5. Poonam Pandey in an another shocking incident got into a twitter argument with controversial writer Taslima Nasreen. Taslima tweeted,“Poonam Pandey got nak*d but not satisfied. She wanna do dirtiest things none did before. Wants to get f****d in public!”. to which Poonam replied, “Fuck what people say… Do YOU. Chitrangada mocked her by tweeting, “How do you compete with Poonam Pandey, when she is ready strip for kabbadi matches?” to which Poonam replied “Its so funny how the people who know the least about you, have the most to say. Jealousy: That’s what makes a b*tch talk.”. However, later it was found that it was an imposter who had tweeted from a fake Chitrangada Singh profile.
