India is one if the country with largest population around the globe and also said to be the country with brilliant brains. Starting from gravitational force the base of science to the number ‘0’ was invented by some of the brilliant brain minds in India. There are many concepts that Indian gave the world and saw a revolution around the globe with their innovation and invention. During the British Raj, no matter how powerful and strong the British were it was the great leaders in India who sacrificed their life for the freedom of this country. We have made a remarkable success stories in all the paths of life and always would. As a proud Indian, I would like to introduce some inventions from India that you never knew.

1. Although everyone knows the base of maths the number ‘0’ was invented in India. After few years, India gave the world a new concept of maths by introducing algebra, geometry, trigonometry and calculus.

2. More than 70% of people from all over world have their beliefs of astronomy. Astronomy was first originated in India, and then the world saw the face of astronomy.

3. Chess was invented in India during 18th century of Maurya Empire. Now chess is considered to be the game of intellectuals.

4.The word navigation is derived from Sanskrit word ‘Navgatih’ and the concept of navigation was introduced the river Sindhu.

5.These two religions traced its origin back to hundreds of years ago in India. Now we can see many Buddhist and Jain people across the country.

6.Buttons were discovered about 5000 years ago during Indus valley civilization. Now you can’t think your life without them.

7.India is the only country to be able to make the structure of globe i.e. Earth. Also known as ‘Goladipika’

8.We think a flush toilet aren’t for Indians but is a revolution from western countries. Flush toilets were invented in India during Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro civilisation.

9. Indians were the people who invented shampoo during the British Raj. Earlier we used to say ‘Champoo’ which later got transformed as shampoo.

10. India was the only country to introduce ink for writing. It had lots of uses for writing and soon was a revolution to all over world.
