How many times have you felt on a working day that today you should take a leave rather than going to office? This is a very common feeling which is experienced by people who are in job.

Sometimes an employee can take a leave by just sending an SMS or by just making a call but if he needs a long leave or he is seriously ill then there is a need to submit a leave letter or leave application. Writing a leave application can be a difficult task for some people as to explain what you are going through has to be explained in words and sometimes this exercise bring out some funny examples on how not to write a leave letter.

The problem increases when the leave letter has to be accompanied with a certificate from doctor verifying that the concerned person was really ill during the tenure he was absent from the office. If the concerned person is a regular visitor to doctor and demands certificate then it also creates difficult situation for the doctor and he needs to decide whether to write the truth or save the person by declaring him ill despite the fact that he was fine.
