2. Bhangarh Fort in Alwar, Rajasthan

This is the most haunted place in India and it has many legends; however, two are more famous than others. First is about Emperor Madho Singh – Guru Balu Nath and the second one is about Princess Ratnavati.

It is said that a saint named Guru Balu Nath used to live here and king Madho Singh wanted to built a fort there. The king asked for permission from the saint who agreed on the condition that the shadow of his fort would not fall on the house of the saint otherwise everything would be ruined. When the fort was built, its shadow fell on the house of the saint and due to this, the fort was doomed and now it is a haunted place.

3. Castle of Good Hope in Cape Town, South Africa

The guards of the castle feel scared at night because they can hear people screaming as well as sound of footsteps. People think that those who were tortured in the castle centuries ago are still making their presence felt.

4. Eastern State Penitentiary, Pennsylvania, US
