Manjhi – The Mountain Man, the most awaited movie of 2015 is released now and gathering huge appreciations across India. This movie is based on the true life of Dasrath Manjhi from Gehlore village in Patna. The Movie features Dasrath Manjhi who was born in a small village in Gehlore, Patna. He was married to Falguni Devi at an early age but with the fear of becoming a slave to the landlord of the village he runs away from the village and returns back after 7 years. After 7 years he finally gets to meet his wife and falls in love with her. They live a happy life until one day while his wife was carrying his lunch slipped from the mountains and die. The mountains was the biggest barrier in reaching out to any basic thing the village needs from the city. So Dasrath Manjhi decides to break the mountain with his bare hands using the basic tool he has. He takes about 22 years to break the mountain and make way from between the mountains so that it gets easier for the people of his village to get connected to the city for their basic needs. The movie shows his day to day struggle to cut the mountain and to make way. He is truly a legend who has done so much for his love and for the benefit of his village. Hats off to the legend.
