‘Great Grand Masti’ failed very badly at the Box Office. On the 1st day the collections were very poor i.e. just 3 crores. Moving to the weekend, instead of increasing, the collections decreased to 2.5 crores on Saturday as well as on Sunday.
Yes, in spite of being released in over 1700 screens, ‘Great Grand Masti’ couldn’t garner good collections. There are 2 things that might have affected the release; firstly because it was leaked online and secondly, it is an Adult film which is not very well accepted by Indian audience. Third and the most important reason is it competed with Sultan! Now on the 4th day, the collections drastically dropped to 1.5 crores. Isn’t it sad?
1st day collections- 3 crores!
2nd day collections- 2.5 crores!
3rd day collections- 2.5 crores!
4th day collections- 1.5 crores!
Total- 9.5 crores!
On the other hand, Sultan was doing a good business at the Box Office till yesterday, but now, on the 2nd Monday the collections have dropped big time. Have a look what at what Taran Adarsh has to say about the collections!

2nd day collections- 37.32 crores!
3rd day collections- 31.66 crores!

6th day collections- 15.54 crores!
7th day collections – 12.92 crores!
8th day collections- 10.82 crores!
9th day collections- 9.52 crores!

Total – 267.31 crores!
Looks like it’s difficult for Sultan to break PK’s 339 Crore & Bajrangi Bhaijaan’s 320 Crore record now!
