15-Yr Girl Jumps Onto Tracks At Malad Station In Suicide Bid

The world now-a-days is full of chaos and turmoil and our youth is the most affected by it since they have a number of things in their minds and at times, they are unable to make out the difference between what’s right and what’s wrong. In this confusion and stress, teenagers and youngsters sometimes take such steps for which they can only repent later. What’s more, not only they but also their families suffer a lot on account of these silly mistakes but lucky are those who successfully escape or are saved. This article also features a similar case wherein a minor girl of 15 made an attempt of suicide by standing on the railway tracks’ middle when a slow train was to chug into Malad.

Fortunately, she could be saved just on time since emergency brakes were slammed by motorman who stopped the train when it was inches away from the teen. The staff pulled the girl, identified as Neha Gupta living in Dahisar, and after counseling, she was sent to her family.  Even though it happened on 4th December, its CCTV recording circulated over the web on Sunday.

In the words of Manish Singh Rathod, RPF Sr. inspector, “The train was travelling at a slow speed station. The motorman brought the train to a halt just in time. Our staff and commuters rushed to the spot and rescued her. She did not suffer any injuries.”
