Force 2 witnessed a good start and didn’t let demonetization affect its collections. However, trends kept declining over the week and the 1st week collections of the movie confirm that it failed at the Box Office, in spite of its promotions and positive word of mouth.

Since its release on 18th of November, “Force 2” just collected Rs 30.15 crores and this is way too less than what the makers had expected. According to trade experts, the film would have been considered super-hit, had it touched the 60 crores mark.
This Tahir Raj Bhasin, Sonakshi Sinha and John Abraham starrer was made on a budget of 45 crores. So if we look at the budget, the overall collections are too poor and aren’t even close to it.
Even though the movie was released in 1700 screens, it failed to woo the audience and collect good numbers. Weekend showed positive trends, but suddenly, the numbers slipped down on the weekdays. As compared to Force (Part 1), the collections are more as the former garnered 24.52 crores at the end of week 1.
The producer of Force 2 had stated that if this demonetization move wouldn’t have come in between, the movie could have done 50 percent more business.
Day 1- 6.05 crores!
Day 2- 6.50 crores!
Day 3- 7.50 crores!
Day 4- 2.80 crores!
Day 5- 2.70 crores!
Day 6- 2.40 crores!
Day 7- 2.20 crores!
Total – 30.15 crores!
