These days, we are seeing increasing instances of inhumanity; one more case has come to light and it’s shocking.
Body of a 2 day old baby girl was found in the toilet of a clinic in Palakkad, Kerala. Well, the poor girl was flushed down the toilet.
Her body was found by plumbers who tried unblocking the toilet. Firstly, they thought it’s a ball, but when they closely saw it, they were shocked to see a baby girl.
Bhageerathy, who is a domestic worker, went to Dr Abdul Rahman’s house on Thursday as usual. She saw the body and also saw how the placenta was still attached.
When she tried cleaning the toilet, she saw the commode clogged with muddy water. Then, she complained about the same to Dr Abdul Rahman. On Friday, they called in the plumbers who then found a baby popping out of that commode.
Currently, the case is being investigated by Nattukal Police (Palakkad). The sub-inspector said that when the water was drained out by plumbers, the baby’s head popped out.
According to police officials,
“There wasn’t much of a foul smell emanating from the toilet. The body hadn’t decomposed when we recovered it. But the baby’s placenta was intact and there was blood inside the commode. Seeing the colour of the blood, the domestic worker mistook it for muddy water.”
Police feels that since there was blood, her mother might have delivered the child inside the toilet and flushed it down.
All possible possibilities are being investigated as of now.
