Sridevi passed away on Saturday night due to cardiac arrest. This news was unbelievable as she was just 54. Bollywood fraternity is shocked and don’t know how to react to this heartbreaking news.
This morning, we reported that Sridevi was found dead inside the bathtub. Since yesterday, there was news about mortal remains of Sridevi being brought to India through Ambani’s private 13 seater jet. However, a lot of delay has happened. Why?
Here are the reasons why the procedure is being delayed.
Reason 1: Sridevi passed away on Saturday night in Dubai; hence, getting postmortem and other procedures done was very much necessary.
Without these procedures, the body cannot be brought to India. Moreover, as per the rules, if someone dies outside the hospital, the entire procedure takes around 24 hours.
• First, the postmortem report is handed over to the police, after which it is investigated.
• After investigating the report, police issues an NOC if nothing suspicious is found.
• It’s on the basis of NOC, that the dead body is handed over
These procedures are going on still, which is why Kapoor family has still not got her body.
Reason 2: Also, Police is checking the hotel’s CCTV footage & taking the statement of hotel staff.
Her mortal remains would be flown to Mumbai only after these procedures are completed as per law.
