Humanity seems to be ending every passing day. Every alternate day, we get to read about brutal rape cases happening in all corners of the country. Yesterday, we reported about how a girl was raped by her 2 friends, after which she was killed, packed in a suitcase and then dumped in a secluded place in Belgaum.
After that, we have come across yet another brutal case in Jharkhand, wherein a 20 yr old tribal woman was brutally raped and filmed by 18-20 men. Yes, this is very inhuman but is true!
This tribal woman was gang raped near Sido Kanhu Murmu university campus in Dumka (Jharkhand) by 18-20 men who were in the age group of 18-22. Mayur Patel, the SP Dumka said that they have detained 6 suspects.
The Incident!
As per police officials, the girl was returning home on Thursday with her boyfriend (A non-tribal). This was around 6.30 pm; 6 youths stopped them and didn’t let them go. Firstly, they brutally beat the boy for being involved in a love affair with a tribal girl. As per police reports, they asked the boy to give them a fine of Rs 5000 or to hand over his cell phone.
Soon, those 6 youths called up some more youths to join in. In the reports, the boyfriend had said that the youths had forced them to strip; not only this, they held him at the knifepoint and raped the girl turn by turn.
This was not it; in order to destroy the evidence, the youths forced her to take a bath in the pond.
The boy gave her his clothes and somehow both of them managed to reach the police station.
Once again, this incident is a dark spot in our society. We need to get rid of this as soon as possible. The rapists should get the strictest punishment!
