The world is certainly moving in a bizarre direction and that’s why, we stumble upon strange incidents on a regular basis, which are quite hard to believe at the first sight but are damn true on the other. For instance, have you ever imagined that a girl could sexually assault a minor boy? Well, believe or not, this has actually happened.
The strange incident took place in Kottayam, Kerala, where a girl of 21 was taken into custody on Monday, as she was living with her 17-yr boyfriend at his house. It so happened that the minor’s mother filed an FIR and alleged that the girl sexually assaulted her son.
After the case was lodged, Ramapuram Police moved to the location and found that the couple was locked in a room, not ready to come out themselves. This made cops break the door and force the boy and the girl to come out.
As per reports, the couple got in touch with Facebook and came closer after regular interaction on the social media site. The girl belonging to Ernakulam was taken to JFMC Pala, Kottayam, and was sent for judicial custody while the boy was sent to Juvenile Justice Board as he is a minor.
As per the data of the year 2015 collected by the NCRB, 8800 cases of child rape have been registered all over India under the Protection of Children Against Sexual Offences Act (POCSO).
