“Mubarakan”, the Anil Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor starrer, hit the theaters on Friday, but witnessed an average response on the opening day. Saturday got a bit better as collections grew by 40 percent. On day 1, the movie minted 5 crores, but on day 2, it collected 7 crores. Makers might be happy to see an improvement in collections, as this is all what they wanted.
The 2 day total was 12.25 crores and all eyes were on the Sunday collections. The audience seems to have liked the movie, which is why they gave good reviews. This in turn led to growth in numbers on Sunday.
Yes, even on the 3rd day, the film witnessed a 50 percent growth (As per Saturday collections), which is a good thing.

Wow, the film showed a boost and earned 10.37 crores on Friday and now, the total is 22.91 crores. This is indeed a decent first weekend total, don’t you think so?

Sunday numbers might be more due to positive reviews by audience; Anil Kapoor has a huge fan following and this is one more reason for an improvement in the numbers.
