“Munna Michael” starring Tiger Shroff, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Nidhhi Agerwal has done pretty well on its 3rd day after having a satisfactory beginning. The flick is going steady as far as the box-office report is concerned and hopefully, it will improve further as it not only showcases Tiger Shroff’s flawless dancing skills but also boasts a super talented actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui who has given a splendid performance.
The word of mouth played a good role and the result was apparently visible on Sunday, as it earned Rs. 8.70 crore, which is really a good sum if we take into account the essential fact that the screen count was not that high and the flick released in just 3000 screens.

Quite naturally, audience had high hopes from the film and we must say that it didn’t let viewers down or rather we should say that “Munna Michael” lived up to people’s expectations in spite of less promotional activities. Music of the film is soothing to ears and Nidhhi has complemented both the actors very well. The brilliant chemistry of Tiger and Nawaz has taken the movie to another level. As the character of Tiger in the flick is a fan of Michael Jackson, Tiger has left no stone unturned in giving his best dance performance. What’s more, Nawaz has played his character so effortlessly that it seems that the role was written keeping him in mind. The movie showed a considerable growth on Sunday and it will be interesting to see whether the figures keep on increasing or not!
Talking of “Lipstick Under My Burkha”, the movie has dealt with a bold subject but since it has been released in merely 400 screens, it was not able to do a pretty good business. Despite the fact that it’s a women-centric movie which we usually don’t happen to watch in Bollywood, it’s receiving accolades. However, if we compare its earnings with that of “Munna Michael”, it lags much behind. Of course, number of screens is a fact to consider here!
Talking of the third day collections of “Lipstick Under My Burkha”, it earned merely Rs. 2.41 crore.
