Padmaavat failed to release in many states due to heavy protests; we felt that the collections might be hampered to a great extent due to this, but fortunately, the film is enjoying a great run.
This Sanjay Leela Bhansali film is grand in every sense & is grabbing attention of viewers from all across the country. On the first day, the numbers were low due to it being a working day, but it picked a good speed from the 2nd day.
On Friday, the movie collected a whopping 32 crores; the film got the advantage of Republic Day holiday. Even on weekend, the numbers were bound to be stable.
Now, the 3rd day collections are out and we have already got a hint that the film will break records.
As per early estimates by Box Office India, Padmaavat has earned 27 crores on the 3rd day. Till yesterday, the total was 55 crores, but with the 3rd day collections, the number has now reached a whopping 82 crores.
The film is slowly inching towards the grand 100 crores club and we can’t wait for it. Guess, it will be able to achieve it on Sunday itself.
