Rapes have become very common these days; however, we often hear some cases wherein the rapists cross all levels of inhumanity.
Well, the recent case is going to shock you to no end. According to reports, a peon of Seth Juggilal Poddar Academy in Malad (Famous ICSE School) raped a 4 year old girl for 4 days.
Yes, the peon raped her between 1st of August to the 4th of August inside the school’s washroom. On 5th of August, a complaint was filed by her mom at Dindoshi police station, after which the police arrested the peon.
Senior police inspector Rajaram Vhanmane is looking into this case. Currently, the peon is into police custody till the 11th of August and a case has been registered against him on the charges of rape and also under various sections of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act. He definitely deserves to be punished hard, isn’t it?
This morning, parents gathered in huge numbers outside the school to protest against this brutal act.
Vinay Rathod, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 12), said that parents are quite worried about their children’s safety and now, they want assurance from the school.
Strict action must be taken as this act doesn’t deserve forgiveness. This also raises questions on safety of children in school.
