Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur’s “OK Jaanu” got a very low start at the Box Office on its 4th day. It was the 1st release of this New Year, but still it failed to woo the audience. Being a love saga, this Shraddha Kapoor starrer was launched in around 1500 screens across the country. Although the movie got a lot of attention due to AR Rahman’s music and Shraddha, collections are very poor.
Let’s see what Taran Adarsh has tweeted;
#OkJaanu Fri ₹ 4.08 cr. India biz.

Seeing the disappointing occupancy rate i.e. just 30 percent, such low numbers were bound to come. On the first day, the movie minted just 4.08 crores; makers must have never expected that it will fail so miserably.
The movie will surely get a good competition from Deepika’s xXx: Return of Xander Cage, which is released along with it. Let’s see what the fate of the movie is in the coming days.
Dangal is still ruling!
#Dangal [Week 4] Fri 1.94 cr. Total: ₹ 361.81 cr. India biz. ATBB… Biz should witness an upward trend on Sat and Sun.

On the other hand, Dangal is still ruling like a king! Even on the 4th Friday, Dangal garnered 1.94 crores; which is just so awesome! With this, the total has now reached 361.81 crores. When we try to compare OK Jaanu’s 1st Friday collections and Dangal’s 4th Friday collections, we can indeed see a HUGE difference. Collecting 2 crores after 22 days of release is very tough, but for a masterpiece like Dangal, everything is possible. The collections clearly show that Dangal has overpowered OK Jaanu!
After seeing such poor collections, we aren’t sure whether OK Jaanu will be able to even recover the cost of production? Do share your views in our comments section below.
