Hiroshima and Nagasaki became the first cities in the world to witness the power of nuclear weapons. Even today, the shadows of the victims lay imprinted on the walls of these cities.
We all know about this great Tragedy but Very few of us know Why it really happened. Was it necessary??
1. USA dropped Bombs as it did not want to share Japanese resources with Russia
Russia and USA planned a joint attack on Japan, But just before its execution USA bombed Japan. It gave USA sole right over Japan and its economy that otherwise had to be shared with Russia
2. It was not an attempt to save US casualties.
Germany and Italy had already surrendered . Japan was on the verge of defeat after Naval blockades and Regular bombing on its cities. So this most used argument to justify Nuclear Attack was a farce.
3. It was not just a war crime, it was a crime against humanity

Around 246000 people died in this attack, most of them civilians. Children are born with deformities till today in this part of world.
4. Impressing Russia was more important than ending the war.
Bomb was used to instill the fear of the USA in the entire world. They become masters of the world for next 15 years till Russia Developed its own Bomb. One other major reason to use bomb was just to “test it”.
5. It kick started cold war that killed millions in poor countries
Believe it or not, Nuclear attack on japan was the main reason behind Cold war Vietnamese, Korean, Afghan and so many wars after that.
Western World first used Hitler ,Mussolini to curb Communism and then used Jehadis for the same reason. USA is responsible for all the terrorism also we witness today that makes it worst country on the planet earth.
