Well everyone dreams of having a beautiful home with luxurious standard of living. To make those dreams come true, people tend to leave their comfort zone i.e. their home city to pursue education or for a job in an all new place with all new people. But living alone in a new city could give you a brand new good and bad experience. Infact, things generally don’t go well at first when you move to a new place, but as the time passes you manage to handle situations accordingly.

So, if you haven’t moved to new city yet and wondering to do so in the future, then this article will give you a heads up with what you might experience when you stay away from your home.

1. The first thing you miss when you stay away from home is FOOD, and just not FOOD, you mom’s cooked food. You remember those moments when your Mom used to force you to eat at home instead of having lunch or dinner with friends at a restaurant in your home city.

2. You gain that sense of independence which you always wanted, you have no one to question about your whereabouts. You are literally independent and this is the time when you become mature and starts taking decisions on your own. I mean decisions which really matter to you.

3. Remember how your parents used to manage everything when you used to live with them in your home city. You tend to experience the same when you stay away from home. You have to manage everything on your own, be it groceries, monthly rent, household bills and many more things.

4. When you move to a new city, the biggest thing which gives you butterflies in your stomach is, what that new city is going to be, and when you starts living there you experience almost everything. You make new friends, you learn how to act around new people and much more.

5. Finally, you might feel homesick for the first few months. But eventually you will or in other words you have to understand that to gain something one has to lose something, and to make your future brighter, you have to give up staying in your home city.

So, I think it was good walk through for people who are thinking to move to a new city for studies or for a job. If we missed anything, we request our readers to comment in the section below.
