Like 2015, IIT-Bombay has been the first choice of a majority of top 100 rankers in 2016 too; whereas last year, this number was 65, it’s increased to 67 this year.

Powai campus is chosen by 67 out of the 100 toppers while IIT-Delhi which got 30 toppers last year is selected by 28 candidates in 2016 and IIT-Madras is the choice of merely 5 top rankers. However, surprisingly, IIT-Kanpur that is normally chosen by 2-3 candidates from top 100 could not get any student in 2016.
