‘Sultan’ just got over with its weekend and has enjoyed a huge business. Well, the Salman Khan starrer has touched the emotional chords of people with its amazing dialogues and sequences. All we can say that Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma’s hard work has finally paid off!
On the 1st day, the movie collected 36.54 crores, on the 2nd day it collected 37.32 crores, on the 3rd day it collected 31.67 crores, on the 4th day, it collected 36.62 crores and finally on the 5th day it collected 38.21 crores, bringing up the total to 180.83 crores! Now, everyone expected the movie to enter the 200 crores club on its 6th day, but guess what the collections have to say!

On Monday, the collections of the movie have fallen and it could earn only 15.54 crores, bringing the total to 195.90 cr. ‘Sultan’ left back the 200crore club just by 4 crores, isn’t it sad?
1st day collections- 36.54 crores!
2nd day collections- 37.32 crores!
3rd day collections- 31.66 crores!
4th day collections- 37.10 crores!
5th day collections- 38.21 crores!
6th day collections- 15.54 crores!
Total- 195.90 crores!
However, the movie has crossed the life time total of popular movies ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’. With today’s collection, it would be challenging biggies like Ek Tha Tiger which collected 198 crores, 3 Idiots which collected 202 crores and Happy New Year which collected 205 crores.
In fact, ‘Sultan’ has a good chance of surpassing the lifetime total of ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’, Salman’s own movie which had collected 207.40 crores. Now, once it crosses this it would be counted among Top 5 movies and that too on 8th day, isn’t it superb?
