A True Fitness Freak!
Ronaldo lifts a total of about 23,055 kgs of weight during his training session. In his early days, he used to train with weights tied up to his feet. Add to that a 3000 abs per day. Ronaldo stated that by doing so, he increased his pace and control over the ball.
The Perfect Example Of Friendship!
Ronaldo and his friend Albert Fantrau together played for the same team in a youth game for getting selected to the next level, which was the Academy from Sporting (Lisbon). The criteria was simple; whoever managed more goals would get selected. Both scored a goal each at first and in the dying moments, Fantrau had a chance to score a second. However, he just passed the ball to Ronaldo and let him score. When Ronaldo asked him why he did so, he simply answered,”You’re better than me.”
Destiny it was that made Ronaldo what he is today. Fantrau is today an unemployed man but still owns a house, a car and lives a king size life. When asked how he manages it the old smile returns on his face and he just replies,”It’s from Cristiano.”

Cristiano was diagnosed with a condition called racing heart when he was just a 15 year old. A laser operation was performed to cauterize the area of his heart that caused the problem. He was all fit and ready to restart his football career after that surgery.
