The year 2023 was a great one for Bollywood as many movies performed pretty well at the box-office and the same is expected from this year, i.e., 2024 as well.
There is no denying the fact that some big movies will be released this year but we will also get to see some popular actors and actresses coming together for the first time in their career.
Here is a list of such actors and actresses who will or who have teamed up for the first time in a movie:
1: Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon:
Shahid Kapoor started his career as a romantic hero but then he played different shades of characters as well and his dancing skills also played a great role in establishing him in the industry. Kriti Sanon is also one of the most talented actresses of the present times as she has won the National Award along with many other awards for her acting performances and it was really great to see them together in the movie “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya”.
The movie which got released on 9 Feb 2024 was directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah and it also starred senior actors – Dharmendra and Dimple Kapadia in important roles.
2. Jr. NTR and Janhvi Kapoor:
While Jr. NTR is the superstar of the southern film industry and also made India proud with his performance in SS Rajamouli’s “RRR”, Janhvi Kapoor is certainly one of the most talented and most beautiful actresses of the present times and audiences are pretty eager to see both of them together on the screen.
They both will be seen in “Devara: Part 1” which is said to be a Telugu action movie but its dubbed version will release in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam as well. Directed by Koratala Siva, the film will also star Saif Ali Khan and Prakash Raj in important roles and will release on 10 October 2024.
3. Prabhas and Deepika Padukone:
“Kalki 2898 AD” is certainly one of the most awaited movies of the year which is slated to release on 9 May 2024. Directed by Nag Ashwin, this film will bring Prabhas and Deepika Padukone together for the first time and it will be interesting to see how they will look together on the big screen.
“Kalki 2898 AD” is said to be made on the budget of Rs. 600 crores and the sci-fi movie is being shot in Telugu and Hindi simultaneously. The flick also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Hassan, Disha Patani and others in important roles.
4. Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri:
Triptii Dimri became the national crush of the country after she was seen in the movie “Animal” which was directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and starred Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol in important roles. Triptii’s popularity increased manifold after “Animal” and now the actress will be seen romancing the talented actor Vicky Kaushal in the movie entitled “Bad Newz”.
“Bad Newz” is said to be a romantic comedy which also stars Sanya Malhotra and it is directed by Anand Tiwari.
5. Shahid Kapoor and Pooja Hegde:
Shahid Kapoor and Pooja Hegde will be seen together for the first time in Roshan Andrews directed “Deva” which is said to be an action packed movie and is slated to release on 11 October 2024.
6. John Abraham and Manushi Chhillar:
The beautiful actress Manushi Chhillar made her Bollywood debut with Samrat Prithviraj which was a flop and she is looking for a hit movie in order to make her presence felt in the industry. She will be working with John Abraham in the movie “Tehran” that is slated to release on 26 April 2024. The film is directed by Arun Gopalan and it also stars Neeru Bajwa and Madhurima Tuli in important roles.
7. Vidyut Jamwal and Nora Fatehi:
The action star Vidyut Jamwal was seen with Nora Fatehi for the first time in Crakk which was based on underground extreme sports. The movie got released on 23 February but it didn’t get good response at the box-office.
