Mary Kom, Azhar, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Dirty Picture, Sarabjit are some of the recent biopic films of Bollywood. Today we decided to present you 7 upcoming biopic films from Bollywood stars.
1. Deepika Padukone as Padmavati
After the success of Bajirao Mastani, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is set to direct another film with Deepika Padukone. His next directorial, ‘Padmavati’ is based on the life of Queen of Chittorgarh – Rani Padmini aka Padmavati. Deepika will play the role of Rani Padmini. The lead actor is yet to be confirmed. However, some names doing rounds are – Shah Rukh Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and Fawad Khan.
2. Aamir Khan as Sunil Dutt in Sanjay Dutt’s biopic
Rajkumar Hirani is very much interested in directing the biopic of Sanjay Dutt. Aamir Khan will be playing the role of Sunil Dutt in the film.
3. Sunny Leone as Sunny Leone
Very soon, Sunny Leone will pen down her autobiography and will play the same role in the film. Inspired by Shah Rukh Khan and the movie Fan, Sunny Leone also wants to play the role of herself in her biopic.
4. Sushant Singh Rajput as Dhoni
M.S. Dhoni : The Untold Story will hit the screens on 30th September 2016. Sushant played the role of MS Dhoni very well in the movie. The film’s trailer has got a great response. Neeraj Pandey is the director of this film.
5. Priyanka Chopra as Kalpana Chawla
There are rumors that Priyanka Chopra is ready to do her dream role based on the Indo-American astronaut Kalpana Chawla incorporation with Viacom 18 Motion pictures.
6. Shraddha Kapoor as Dawood Ibrahim’s sister Haseena
Shraddha Kapoor will feature in the titular role of ‘Haseena – The Queen of Mumbai’. In this movie, she plays the role of Dawood’s sister. This is the first time, Shraddha will play a negative role in Bollywood.
7. Kangana Ranaut as Rani Laxmi Bai
Kangana will portray the role of Rani Laxmi Bai in Ketan Mehta’s upcoming film.
