Hide your last seen time!

Many people hate the feature of ‘Last seen’! Users complain that this feature breaches privacy. Hence, WhatsApp has come up with a perfect solution for the same. To hide this feature, go to ‘SETTINGS’, go to ‘ACCOUNT’, then ‘PRIVACY’ and then tap on ‘LAST SEEN’. Choose your preferences. This is definitely going to save you from all the troubles.
Mute contacts and groups!

Want to mute those unwanted messages that keep pouring in from groups or people you hate? Well, WhatsApp has a ‘MUTE’ option for it. All you need to do is open the chat you wish to mute, then tap ‘CONTACT INFO’, tap ‘MUTE’. Moreover, you can even select the duration for which you want the group/chat muted.
Custom notifications for ‘Favorites’

Want to set up custom notifications for your favorite contacts? Well, there is an option for this!
1) iPhone- Go to the chat, then tap ‘CONTACT INFO’, tap ‘CUSTOM NOTIFICATIONS’ and then choose the ‘MESSAGE SOUND AND RINGTONE’, then ‘SAVE’.
2) Android- Go to chat, tap ‘CONTACT’, click ‘CUSTOM NOTIFICATIONS’. Now you will see a list of ringtones, pop-ups, lights and vibration alerts.
Email chat history!

What if you wish to save your chats and read it later on? Well, now you can email chat history.
1) iPhone users- Open Whatsapp, select the chat you want to email, tap on ‘CONTACT INFO’ and then select ‘EMAIL CHAT’.
2) Android- Open Whatsapp, long press a group or chat, then tap ‘EMAIL CHAT’.
Stop those videos and photos from getting saved!

Usually all media files exchanged through WhatsApp get saved by default. However, do you want to avoid it?
1)iPhone users- Open WhatsApp, go to ‘SETTINGS’. You would see a switch for saving incoming media. Just ‘DISABLE’ it.
2) Android users- Open WhatsApp, go to ‘SETTINGS’, tap the option of ‘MEDIA AUTO DOWNLOAD’ and then uncheck everything.
You can use Whatsapp on your PC!

All you need to is go to web.whatsapp.com. Firstly open WhatsApp on phone, open menu, tap ‘WhatsApp web’ and then scan the QR code.You are now all set to use WhatsApp on PC!
Now get rid off these blue tick marks!

Go to ‘SETTINGS’, select ‘ACCOUNT’, go to ‘PRIVACY’ and then switch off those read receipts!
