She had so much money!

Later, after searching the room of the woman, fixed deposit deposits that amounted to 2 crore rupees were found. These documents are with respective banks. Owing to absence of nominee, the banks are waiting for someone who would claim the amount.
She didn’t have any child and last year, her husband Premnarayan died. She was living at Nullah Bazaar’s small room like a destitute. Her room was located in a temple premises. Pitying her, the neighbors would offer clothes and food to her. A rumor was spread that after the death of her husband she wasn’t left with anything. A resident of the same locality stated that 2 years back, when her husband was ill, she stood in the queue of a government hospital for treatment.
Neighbors say that a small room had been rented by the neighbors several years ago since they were alone. Although they were poor, they were good people stated another resident.

When she died!

2 days back, when Kanak wasn’t seen in that premises, some neighbors thought of going to her room and checking. She was found dead. Another neighbor stated that everyone was quite sad over this demise. They collected money and arranged for rituals and funeral. When the room was opened, they found old furniture, used clothes and some random stuff. However, when the iron box was opened, FD certificates of various banks were found and those amounted to 2 crores.

Someone claimed the money!

The documents were collected and handed over to banks for disposal. A nephew from Chhatisgarh who was never seen before, claimed that he was her only relative. However, the bank would be taking the decision on the same. Mukesh Joshi, a neighbor stated that the nephew made claims of constructing a temple in memory of his aunt and uncle with that money. However, he was never seen when the couple was struggling.
