Back then Doordarshan was a complete everything you could ask for, it used to air a weekend movie, the news hour, the classic serials, and the ads, who could forget. You know what they say, television content is the reflection of our culture, our society, our lives. Doordarshan advertisements were so memorable because those actors, the photography, the cinematography, the background music, the ideas, the script all blended together and created a magic.
