The year 2024 has started with a bang as the first international awards ceremony of the year took place recently, we are talking about the 81st Golden Globe Awards ceremony which was held in Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.

Christopher Nolan directed “Oppenheimer” not only won the Best Picture but it also won the awards for Best actor (Cillian Murphy), Best Director and Best Supporting Actor (Robert Downey Jr.).

On the other hand, Greta Gerwig directed “Barbie” also won two awards, the first one is for Best Original Score and the second is for the Cinematic and Box Office Achievement.

If we talk about the television, then it was HBO’s “Succession” which ruled the night as it not only won the Best Drama series but also the Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series (Drama), Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series (Drama) and Best Supporting Actor (Television).
