We all travel by flight to experience comfort, but sometimes, situations become so dreadful that we prefer not to choose that mode of travel again. An 87 year old lady traveler Kocharik Tsamouzian, got a bad treatment from the flight attendant of British Airways. The plane was delayed on the runway by 90 minutes, and this is what created the trouble.
The lady wanted to use the loo, but the flight attendant didn’t allow her to do so, due to which, she ended up wetting herself. This incident took place on the 22nd of December 2016, on a flight to London. Yes, this lady boarded the flight from Los Angeles, but never knew that she would have the worst experience of her life.

Soon after Tsamouzian boarded the flight, she headed towards the loo, but sadly, the attendant blocked her way and didn’t allow her to go. The lady made several requests, but the cabin crew was in no mood to listen.
Tsamouzian’s daughter Behroozi, who came to receive her at the Heathrow airport, talked to the reporters about this incident; she said that her mom was in tears and pain throughout the journey, because she had wet herself and had no spare clothes. Imagine how difficult and embarrassing her journey must have been.
Behroozi said that her mom was literally begging the stewardess to let her go. She added,
“I was shaking with anger. She asked the air hostess over and over again if she could go to the loo but they kept telling her no because of health and safety reasons.”
After acknowledging this incident, British Airways offered a compensation of £40; Behroozi got furious and said,
“They offered me just £40 compensation. It is an insult. I was shaking with anger. I emailed and said I demand to speak to someone. This is degrading, insulting, I wouldn’t even take £4,000 from you… I want a proper apology.”
As of now, a formal apology hasn’t been rendered. The old lady is terrified and doesn’t want to travel by plane again.
Her daughter was quoted as saying,
“She said she will never fly to the UK again. She went through such an ordeal she said she will never fly to see me again. I go and visit her in LA every two or three months.”

This was damn insensitive; the cabin crew should have considered her age and acted accordingly. If such incidents keep repeating, people will never prefer traveling by such airlines.
