Aamir Khan always aspired to win GOLD MEDAL for his country and wanted to see his country’s flag on top. This proves that we should all have the spirit and desire to do something good and respectful for our country.

2. A father’s anger seems bitter for today but is sweeter for a better tomorrow.

In the movie Fatima (Geeta Phogat) smirks by saying ‘Babuji ki galli barso badd sunke acha laga’. Aamir Khan had to be a tough father for his daughters so that they train well with discipline and focus. Little kids hated it at first but realized its worth later on.

3. Girls are in no way weaker than boys.

There is this old age lie that the girls are not stronger than boys, but the fact is ‘Maari chori, choro se kum hai ke’. Both the girls (in their teens) had trained with and against boys. They had indeed smashed them right on their face. In the same manner, women are not weaker than men in any field.

4. Girls are not just meant for marriage and doing household stuffs.

There is a scene in the movie where a small girl was married off to a man who she hadn’t seen at all. A girl also has a dream, a will to follow her passion and do something worth respectful for her and for her parents.

5. Corruption in Sports Federations is for real and should not be taken lightly.

Some people criticize our genetics for not being sporty. While the fact is that a person doesn’t need to belong from a sporty genetics for winning a medal. Corruption in Sports Federation eats up a lot of funds that are supposed to buy facilities for current and upcoming athletes of our country.

6. Believe in yourself and the education taught to you.

In the final match, Aamir Khan and his daughter Geeta (Fatima) was made to stay away through unfair means. This means that life is never fair and at such times one needs to have confidence in himself/herself and the education taught to him/her by his/her Guru.

7. There is nothing wrong to apologize and it’s never too late for the same.

In the movie, Geeta (Fatima) had an argument with her father over the debate of raw technique and modern technique. Later on, she loses her international fights and hence she feels apologetic but doesn’t ask for forgiveness from her father. However, once she asks for it, everything comes back to track and life seems good again.

8. Ego is not a solution to any problem, forgiveness is.

Geeta Phogat (Fatima) asked for forgiveness, but Aamir Khan was reluctant to forgive her. He was earlier defeated by her in a wrestling match but more hurting was the fact that she disobeyed him in front of everyone who happened to respect him with the highest honor. His ego did come in between while thinking to forgive her. But once a father heard the sobbing of her daughter then no ego in the world can keep him away from caring about her.

9. Never ever forget to respect the ones who brought you up to a respectable place.

In various scenes in the movie, Geetha Phogat (Fatima) was seen crediting her father for the moves that she was using in for her fights. Even after winning the match, she credited her father for supporting her throughout her life and bringing her up to to a place where the world is now celebrating her victory.
