1. Rahul Dravid played hockey before switching to cricket. He was chosen to represent Karnataka’s junior state team.
2. He is the only non-Australian to give speech at the Sir Donald Bradman.
3. He was voted the sexiest sports personality (2004-05) in an online survey, beating Yuvraj Singh and Sania Mirza. He also won GQ men of the year award!
4. He is credited for being the first captain to lead India to win a test match again South Africa in their own land.
