Despite Being So Successful, ‘Kabali’ Failed To Break These 2 Records!

Kabali is doing excellent all across the globe. Already, the fans are going crazy since the time the movie has released. People were craving to watch First Day First Show of the movie, but not everyone was fortunate enough.

After a fantabulous opening, it was time to focus on how much the Rajnikanth starrer earned. The Thalaivar left no stones unturned for crashing various records at the Box Office.

Considering the 1st week collections i.e 128 crores, ‘Kabali’ is counted among the most successful releases of this year. It beat Vedalam, which earlier enjoyed the highest opening day collection record in Tamil Nadu; and when it came to Bollywood, the Rajnikanth starrer went ahead of ‘Sultan’, ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo’ and ‘Happy New Year’ too, once again in terms of opening day collections.

In spite of such good collections, ‘Kabali’ couldn’t slash these 2 records; wondering which ones? Firstly, the movie couldn’t beat ‘Bahubali’ in terms of opening day collections.

While the former garnered 49.3 crores on the 1st day, ‘Bahubali’ minted Rs 50 crores on the opening day. Although both the collections were very close, ‘Kabali’ couldn’t beat it.

Secondly, talking about the opening weekend collections, ‘Kabali’ was once again left behind by ‘Bahubali’. While the S.S Rajamouli movie earned a whopping Rs 197 crores, the Rajnikanth starrer could mint just Rs 128 crores in the opening weekend. Both these Tollywood movies have been extremely popular ones, don’t you agree?

However, considering the huge fan following that Thalaivar enjoys, everyone expected that his movie would surely beat ‘Bahubali’, but unfortunately, it didn’t happen. Let us see whether ‘Kabali’ can beat it in any other aspect in the coming days or not. What do you think guys? Do let us know your opinions on this!
