Today, in this business-oriented world, good ads speak a lot. There are only a few companies that are successful in grabbing the attention of people with their thoughtfully designed ads. You might be seeing loads of them while travelling or while going to work, but who likes those dull and boring ads; what catches attention is the one which has a pinch of ‘Uniqueness’ and a blend of ‘Creativity’.

One such company is Aircel, the mobile network giant which tried its best for helping people as well grabbing a bit of their attention. Yes, on its hoardings in India, Aircel had attached a lifeboat, so that people can sail through it easily during monsoons. All they needed to do is to cut the rope when need arises. Through this hoarding, Aircel wanted to give out a message that its network is so strong that people can sail through it in monsoons too.

Do you know what the price of this lifeboat was? Well, the cost of this lifeboat was around 3 Lakh rupees. This boat was a perfect option to tackle those emergency situations in monsoons.

However, it seems, Aircel forgot that this is India and here, the mentality of people is extremely different. Here, people don’t leave a chance to steal things; yes you heard it right, people didn’t leave the life boat as well. See, how it disappeared in Mumbai;

And the same thing happened in Guwahati as well! GPlus had a Facebook post showing the before and after pictures of the hoarding!

The lifeboat is stolen and an FIR has been filed against it. For the robber, it must have surely been a good deal, isn’t it? Poor Aircel! Little did it know that when it would come up with such a brilliant initiative in an attempt to help people, it would be shattered like this!
