Bhaskar Khulbe, PM’s secretary, has the highest salary of about Rs. 2 lakhs, while PK Mishra (Additional Principal Secretary), Ajit Doval (National Security Adviser) and Nripendra Misra (Principal Secretary) are paid Rs. 1,62,500 monthly.
Tarun Bajaj gets the highest salary as a Joint Secretary which is Rs. 1,77,750 while other joint secretaries are paid nearly Rs. 1.7 lakhs. Rs. 17,000 is the lowest salary and it’s paid to a “multitasking staff” member.
