There are a number of diseases in the world which are still non-curable and medical science is yet far from finding a solution for them. One such case is seen in Bangladesh where Bayezid Shikdar, a 4-yr old boy, is developing symptoms which are making him look like an old man.
The extra skin on his body is making his face and limbs to sag while he is also experiencing problems with his eyesight, hearing and heart too.
As per AFP, Bayezid is presently being treated in at Dhaka Medical College Hospital where he is undergoing various tests free of cost. The doctors of the hospital agreed to treat him without any cost after they came to know about his weird condition.
Bayezid belongs to a poor family and his father Lablu Shikdar has already spent a lot on his medical treatment. He told AFP, “We sold our land to treat him at local hospitals. We took him to religious healers and herbal doctors, but his condition did not change. This hospital is our last hope.”
The head of hospital’s burn and plastic surgery unit, Abu Kalam, told AFP, “Bayezid’s parents have said the aging of their boy has been halted recently. He has shown signs of improvement. We’re investigating his condition.”
We hope and pray that the kid gets cured and lives a normal life like every other child of his age.
