Sakshi Malik has made India very proud with her win. Yes, since a long time, India was waiting for a medal at Rio Olympics. Sakshi Malik clinched a bronze medal in the category of Women’s Freestyle 58kg and the way she did it is definitely worth an applaud.
She showed a great performance by overturning 0-5 deficit to 8-5 in the 2nd round, finally defeating Kyrgystan’s Aisuluu Tynybekova. This shows the true fighting spirit of an Indian.
Now, with this superb performance, Sakshi received a lot of appreciation from all over. Right from Virender Sehwag to PM Modi, everyone appreciated her determination and grit. Now when we talk about the tweet of Viru, he congratulated Sakshi and at the same time literally rubbed salt on Shobhaa De’s wounds who once said that Indian Olympians don’t do anything but just take selfies and come back without winning.
She criticized Rio Olympics as nothing but a waste of ‘Money and time’. Want to see Sehwag’s tweet? Have a look….
