Rio Olympics was disappointing for India as far as the medal tally goes but there were some performances worth remembering such as Dipa Karmakar, Abhinav Bindra, Manish Singh, Dattu Bhokanal and Lalita Babar.
Badminton player PV Sindhu won a silver medal while wrestler Sakshi Malik won a bronze medal for the country and both of them can be seen in various felicitation ceremonies which are being held to reward their efforts.
One more athlete who was also a part of such ceremonies despite not being able to win a medal is gymnast Dipa Karmakar and this irked one of the fans of shooter Abhinav Bindra.
The fan asked a question from the 2008 gold medalist on Twitter, “Bro why are you missing in all facilitations happening in Delhi? If Deepa is getting such a reception then why cant you?”

Well, this type of question may have troubled a common man but Abhinav is full of sportsman spirit and his reply is pure gold, “She is a path breaker in gymnastics and I’m happy that she is getting much deserved attention. I had my moment in 2008.”
