There has been a lot of buzz surrounding the upcoming biopic of Dhoni, ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ and it is all set to hit the screens on the 30th of September 2016.
Yes, as you can see, the title itself gives us a hint that there will be many untold stories about Dhoni in this flick, which will make the watch all the more interesting.
Reports say that the makers spent around 80 crores in the making of the biopic. But wait! Something magical has happened; luck has favored this flick, and it has already recovered 60 crores before the release. Wondering how is this possible?
Well, the movie has garnered 45 crores from satellite rights and 15 crores from various brand associations. Now, it needs to earn just 20 crores to meet the budget, and chances are that it would cover it up on the very first day itself.
This is not it; apart from those 15 crores, the brands would spend a huge amount on the promotions too, isn’t it superb?
There is no doubt that the movie would definitely earn stupendous collections, considering the ‘Popularity’ factor of Dhoni. Makers haven’t spent much money on locations, as sequences are shot locally i.e. in his hometown, for giving a realistic touch.
