In his speech, he not only raked up the Kashmir protests, but also glorified slain Hizbul commander Burhan Wani as a “young leader”. He devoted much of his 20-minute speech at the U.N. General Assembly session to Kashmir and the current situation in the Valley.
Nawaz said that Pakistan has been the principal victim of terrorism including that supported, sponsored, financed from abroad. Thousands of our soldiers have lost their lives in acts of terror. He said that Pakistan wants peace with India. And Peace between India and Pakistan cannot be finally achieved without resolution to the Kashmir dispute.
India slammed Nawaz Sharif’s UN speech, the entire nation is criticizing the Prime Minister’s speech, calling it a good laugh. Everyone is shocked by the fact that a leader of a free nation can glorify a self-declared terrorist Burhan Wani. This is self-incrimination by Pakistan.
