Odisha Newspaper Published Rajdeep Sardesai’s Photo As ‘Terror Suspect’! Here’s What Happened!

Seems that, journalist Rajdeep Sardesai’s image on internet continues to be spoiled by his haters.

Recently, he faced a huge embarrassment when his picture was found as Terror Suspect in the front page of Odisha newspaper “Sambad” on September 23rd edition. The sketch of the person looked quite similar to Sardesai which was reported by the famed journalist himself.

Sardesai, quickly getting into the action, blamed right-wing Twitter gangs for this “mischief” and alleged that the article was based on their tweets. Sardesai tweeted,

However, later the official Twitter handle page of Sambad apologized to Rajdeep, who accepted their apology and asked them to a start refresher course. The article was related to recent development in Uran region of Mumbai outskirts where school children claimed they found a group of men carrying arms near the Uran naval base.

Sambad forthrightly apologized for their error, and Sardesai accepted it as well.
