The craze for iPhone is never-ending! Have you got one for yourself? If not, may be you are still busy arranging money or selling kidneys for the same. Some of you might be working overtime, to earn those extra thousands and buy one for yourself, isn’t it?
Finally, after struggling so much, when you buy an iPhone for yourself, what if your employer tells you ‘You are fired’? Probably, you might be laughing while reading this, but let us tell you that there is actually a country wherein owning an iPhone 7 can make you lose your job.
Any guesses which country are we talking about? Well, it is none other than CHINA.
In China, a healthcare company named Nanyang Yongkang has banned its employees from buying an iPhone and an official notice too, has been served to them.
Here’s the notice!
Translation in English: “If you break this rule, then just come to the office straight away to hand in your resignation”
So if their job is dear to them, this phone is a strict ‘NO’. There are rumors that the company is against the employees spending their money on such costly phones, but no, the reason is something else.
The actual reason!
The actual reason for this is that, China doesn’t want to encourage use of foreign products and hence it is boycotting it. This notice was sent to the employees on the 85th Anniversary of Japanese invasion over North east China. May be, patriotism is more important for the country than materialism and hence, this move.
Soon this idea went viral and other companies too started following the same with their employees. This is really strange, don’t you think so?
