As the elections are nearing, we can see politicians making some attractive announcements, which surely force people to vote for them. Forget the selfish motive of politicians; these schemes are indeed very beneficial for general public.
Now, the recent announcement made is that of ‘Samajwadi Smartphone Yojna’. Yes, this party (Uttar Pradesh) led by Akhilesh Yadav announced that free smartphones would be distributed to public, in case they win the elections. Not only this; even the registrations of the same have started.
The registration is open for a month i.e. till the 10th of November, but there are certain terms and conditions that one has to follow. Only those who are 10th class passed and are above 18 years of age are eligible to apply for the same. Government employees cannot apply!
All one needs to do is visit the website https://www.samajwadisp.in/, and submit the necessary documents as age proof. Moreover, the family income has to be less than 6 lakhs and if it is more, forget the phone. The most important condition “You have to be an Uttar Pradesh citizen”.

However, one shocking thing is that the website which they have provided for booking doesn’t open most of the time! Is the offer genuine or is it just a way to entice people?
