How often do you come across small children begging on the streets? Very often, right? India is a country, where “Starvation” is a very common issue. Every year, there are lakhs of children who die due to this, and no one even comes to know. Why? Because such issues don’t matter to anyone. We have that tendency of making a hype of “Popular” issues and ignoring the ones that actually need our focus.
There are millions of people who stock up black money in their homes, but on the other hand, there are several poor sections of the society as well, who can’t even afford the basics. But has the government ever taken any drastic step for the same?
While Government is busy concentrating on the larger perspective of “Black money” by imposing a ban on Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes, why are the weaker sections being ignored? Can’t the government see the pains they are going through? Can’t it see how much they are suffering? Fighting black money holders is definitely a good idea, but along with that, government must also make an attempt to concentrate on the needs of poor and make them capable enough to live in this society.
