Sushma Swaraj, the External Affairs Minister has always won our hearts with her helpful nature and active presence on Twitter. Yes, as soon as people contact her for help through Twitter, she responds immediately. Once again Sushma has proved to be a fairy for this resident of New Jersey, Deepika Pandey and her newborn baby.
Originally, Deepika is from Eastern Uttar Pradesh and currently she is New Jersey.
Well, Deepika’s husband Hariom Pandey died of a heart attack few weeks back. Few days back she gave birth to her daughter and she also has a 4 year old son. However, after the death of her husband, things were getting difficult for her. Some friends of hers took her for treatment, but there, she faced the problem of medical insurance, since it was a Boston one and was considered invalid. In United States, you can’t use the health insurance of one state, in another.
Now, seeing all these problems, Deepika’s family wanted her to come back to India so that they could take better care of her and the kids. Deepika’s family tweeted a letter to Sushma Swaraj and explained her all the problems that Deepika was facing. Moreover, they requested her to grant a Overseas Citizenship of India card and passport for the newborn baby, since she is an American citizen. Here’s the tweet by Deepika’s family member;

We all know that Sushma is not only a good minister, but she is also a good mother to all her daughters who seek help from her in their troubled times. She was prompt enough to take the appropriate action.
