Those never ending queues outside banks and ATMs to get cash is getting on the nerves now. Yes, the ATMs and banks are facing shortage of cash, and due to this, the queues are getting longer and longer. PM Modi is trying out all possible ways to ensure that people don’t face problems due to cash crunch.
To ensure smooth operations, the Finance Ministry started allowing people to withdraw Rs 2,000 at Petrol Pumps by swiping debit or credit cards. Now, PM Modi has introduced one more way for easing the problems of people.

Yes, now people have an opportunity of withdrawing Rs 2,000 from Big Bazaar, the largest retail chain of India. Today, the company announced that from Thursday, a person can withdraw up to Rs 2000 by swiping his debit card.

Isn’t it good news? Now, people can swipe their debit cards at POS machines and take the cash within minutes! Now no need of waiting in those big bank queues.
This facility would be available across 258 stores in 115 cities and towns across India.
Big Bazaar has tied up with State Bank of India for enabling this facility. Even if you have a scheduled bank account, you can withdraw money with ease.
Kishore Biyani further said
“We are trying hard to ease any difficulties faced by customers due the demonetisation of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 currency notes and support the government’s initiative in meeting its objective. Now with customers being able to withdraw cash at Big Bazaar stores, they are welcome to visit our stores instead of queuing up at banks and ATMs.”
