Today, while addressing Rajya Sabha, Dr. Manmohan Singh attacked PM Modi’s demonetization move by calling it an “Organized loot” and “Monumental mismanagement” and also stated how the GDP of the country would decline. Since Dr. Manmohan Singh is a renowned economist, the 2-time Prime Minister, former finance minister and RBI governor, his views should have been appreciated. With so much knowledge in economy, Dr Manmohan Singh is obviously the best person to judge demonetization.
However, his views received a lot of irk from Modi fans. Post demonetization, the scenario has become bad; whoever gives his frank opinion on this move gets massively trolled. Same was the case with Manmohan Singh, when he tried to explain how this move wasn’t beneficial for the country.
Forget Modi supporters; even Anupam Kher trolled him. This was least expected from a matured actor like him, who is always known for his thoughtful opinions. God knows what made him troll Dr. Manmohan Singh. Anupam Kher took to Twitter and made fun of Manmohan Singh.
